Our starts are created as often as possible from locally sourced seeds, growing medium & containers. We supplement as needed with companies and products we believe in. And, we use our starts to supply our own family garden. Now, that is an endorsement.

This is an important step. In addition to knowing what planting zone you are in, you will also want to know your first / last average freeze or frost dates. I really like Dave's Garden for this information. Look how different the dates are Eugene is from Fern Ridge Dam and Corvallis.
If you have row protection and are diligent about keeping your young plants protected, you can buy some time at the beginning and the end of the growing season. (Even if you don't, our area is good for TWO Summer growing seasons. One kicks off in May and the other at the end of July. More to come.
